The specific species depend on the season. Garrick will provide information based on the time of your trip. Species include Sockeye Salmon aka Reds, Silver Salmon aka Coho, King Salmon aka Chinook, and Rainbow Trout

Are fishing licenses included in the trip cost?
Fishing licenses are not included in the trip cost. Anglers are responsible for obtaining their licenses ahead of time via the Alaska Department of Fish & Game website.
What time do we start?
Typically about 6am, but that can be flexible and up to you.
What should I bring for the fishing trip?
We recommend bringing layered clothing, waterproof jacket, pants, and boots, a valid fishing license, snacks, water, and any personal items you may need.
Can children join the fishing trips?
Yes, children are welcome! We offer family-friendly trips, and do our best to make the experience enjoyable for anglers of all ages.

How long is a fishing trip?
We offer a full and half day charters. A half day is about 5-6 hrs and a full day runs about 8 hrs.
Can I keep the fish I catch?
Regulations vary depending on the species and time of year. Garrick will provide guidance on catch-and-release practices and keeping fish within legal limits.
